Layouts on iPad

Currently No - Logos 1.5.2 on iPad only opens one resource at a time.

Would become a useful teaching aid if notes were available on an iPad.

I wanted to bump this topic. Logos on my iPad transitions as a Bible in worship, a quick two-panel Greek/English interlinear, and a reader for seminary text books. It is sooooo difficult to toggle between these functions. I have to go back to the library and open each resource individually ... re-split or collapse the screen (1 or 2 resources). I'm begging for a couple of buttons in the iPad app that will allow me to load layouts.

Thanks alabama24,
Could ... just seems bulky. Would still REALLY like to see a good Logos iPad option.

Shawn - One possibility is for you to utilize the several apps (Logos, Faithlife, Vyrso) which Logos puts out to accomplish this. Using the multitask bar, you can switch easily between the apps.
Good point...but if anyone has gestures enabled you can also just swipe between apps.

I've found the history in Vyrso to be helpful. I'm leaving the iPad Logos app configured for Bible study and am reading books in Vyrso. Limiting the books in my history tab I can easily switch between the electronic books I want to read. You can delete any books out of history to minimize the virtual "bookshelf" of active reading by swiping to the right and tapping delete.

The problem for me to the multiple apps solution is that you have to download the same resources three times. Would be great if they could share a library. If you create a note in one it has to upload to the server and then download in the next app.

Unfortunately for this issue, that is not how iOS apps work. With only a few exceptions, they are "sandboxed" from other apps & data. This is one of the ways that Apple keeps iOS devices safer from hacking & malware.

I used to be able to delete books from history on the older version but can't seem to do it on this one. Btw. Really nice improvement. I use Ipsf app.

If you're talking about Vyrso on the iPad, go to history, swipe the book you want to delete from left to right, then tap the delete button that appears.

Hi April,
If you long press on a resource shown in the History list, a delete option (red circle) will appear. Tapping on that will give you the option to delete. Note that doing this simply deletes that item from the history, not the actual book.

In the Bible app, press and hold the resource in the history pane.
Click on the red circle with a white line through it which appears to the left of the resource and then press the Delete button which appears.

swipe the book you want to delete from left to right
you mean from right to left It works that way in the Logos app also if you are activating the history from pressing the arrow at the top left and not the history tool. Press and hold to delete, works in the history tool and the history dropdown in the Logos app and Vryso. Now, are we all confused?
