Android 2.0.9 Update Released
The Android team is pleased to announce an update to the stable release of the 2.0 version of the Bible, Biblia, Vyrso, and FSB Android apps.
If you discover any issues please create a new post and include the following info:
Description – How were you using the app when the crash occurred.
App Info – Which app you are using. (Bible, Biblia, Faithlife Study Bible, Vyrso)
Device Info – (Google Nexus 7, Motorola Triumph, Droid Bionic)
Android Version – (2.2, 2.3, 3.x, 4.0, 4.1)
The apps are available for download in Google Play, and will also be available in the Amazon Appstore once approved.
If you do not have access to the app in your market, you may download it from these links: Bible | Biblia | Faithlife | Vyrso.
Note: The Logos app has been renamed to Bible.
Fixed
- Highlight styles using built-in graphics were not showing in Vyrso
- Several crashes related to Notes/Highlighting
- Several crashes related to text box verse auto-completion
- Crash after tapping on a search result
- Crash related to text selection
- Several other various crashes
Known issues
- Notes and highlights will be (very) slow to appear in resources with many notes/highlights
- Android 2.1 users who have manually installed the app are receiving notifications for app updates which cannot be installed
- Notes and highlights cannot be edited (yet)

Update is broken on Galaxy Note os 4.0.4, if you plan on highlighting/annotating multiple words then Do Not upgrade.

if you have upgraded.. and still have your build logos-52.apk in Downloads , install it as it will overwrite the faulty version and restore usability

Installed 2.09 on my kindle fire. When I try to Highlight the highlight initiator bar does not appear after i move the handles to select the text to highlight..

I went back to build 51 and re installed it. Highlight works fine.

I noticed the fix for the Vyrso app and highlights not showing, is this the same issue many of us are having with highlighters not showing on AOSP Roma in the Bible app? If so, can it be added to the Bible app please

thanks Frank. have no issue with highlighters not being visible, only the pop-up menu goes awol in new release.
Interestingly just had coffee with my friend who uses it on same model machine but different provider, with same kernel baseband, os etc, but he has no issue, so it maybe a resource I have or my notefile that may be messing it up..

Hmmm.....
I installed this and now it says that I don't have a license for the ESV!It also failed on downloading all of my updates.....

I can't change to different resources now. For ex, from esv can't open niv--app crashes. It also crashes if I move the window split quickly.

New behavior: usually, never finishes checking for updates before crashing. If it does finish find an update, it identifies NASB95 (which I've downloaded) as needing an update, starts downloading it (at my request), & then crashes before finishing. Basically, v. 9 crashes every time.

Now what?
While it was still working on "checking for updates", I went to settings & turned off "display notes". Voila! no more crash!
Not sure what's going on, but I though I'd report back... (it isn't an issue because there are NO notes I want displayed on my pocket Logos... they're all for laptop Logos.)

I seem to have lost the ability to download my resources. I did a fresh install, and now there doesn't seem to be any way to download. The old instructions about going to resource info don't work anymore.

Logos are working on providing support for personal books to mobile devices but we haven't heard yet when it will be available.
