Mac Bug: Small Window Strikes Again

Logos wanted to install some resources after a download and then when it started back up I got the small window treatment again. I and others have reported this before, so attached are logs and screenshot to prove that I'm not making this up! Geeked

I'm afraid no one at Logos is paying attention to this problem. I've deceided just to live with it although you would think some one would care enough about the product to try to find a solution.

Yea, been this way a long, long time.

It will happen for a while after every resource update and often after program update.

Resize it back to normal by "pulling" on corner to get it close, then use the green button.

Close and re-open, repeat if needed.

After a couple of times, it will usually ( at least on my machine) start opening normally until the next resource or program update, then you get to do it all again-smile.

Bigger issue is it has, at times , actually opened "off screen" for the most part. Only a tiny, tiny bit of the tab showing onscreen, then it becomes more difficult to deal with.

I reported this, with screen shots to tech support a year ago, had tech support screen share, record screen shots, get logs. I don't think they have found a working solution as yet.

Just have to "work around " it .

The question is what's different between your installation and mine, because to me it happens once a quarter or so. And I haven't noticed any connection with updates.

Dear FGH : My Best answer is: I just don't know.

I lean toward it having something to do with resources as we all get resource updates at different times depending on what Library we have and what resources we have added to said library. I have Scholars ( can't remember , but think it started at silver) and have added many individual titles as well as the Catholic collection, BDAG etc. Thus I tend to lean towards it having something to do with resources.

Somewhat concur with hypothesis because resource update(s) provide a reason to restart Logos 4 application. Recently experienced Logos 4.6 Beta 4 opening to a non-maximized windows for me on Windows 7 after adding a resource; puzzled by Logos 4 Home Page being smallish at times (albeit Mac smallish is much smaller than Windows).

Recently experienced Logos 4.6 Beta 4 opening to a non-maximized windows for me on Windows 7 after adding a resource; puzzled by Logos 4 Home Page being smallish at times (albeit Mac smallish is much smaller than Windows).

Looking in a Logos 4.6 Beta 4 log on Windows 7, noticed a Statistics Manager exception and launch to non-maximized window. When Logos 4.6 Beta 4 was closed (to install new resources), the Logos 4 Window was maximized.
