Bug: 2.0.9 Broken - Disappearing menu on multi-select
using Galaxy note N7000 os 4.0.4 moving selection handles causes menu to permamently dissapear, sadly rendering this update broken for me

It appears to be related to making a large selection or making it too quickly.
As a quick workaround, once you have made your selection, tap on one of the handles, and see if it comes back.

Thanks Dominic! Fixed for 2.0.10. Sorry that workaround didn't help...the frequency of making it happen really varied per-device, so thanks for bringing it to our attention!

Just my observation. If i use the stylus, the popup menu for multi-select disappear. But If I use my finger, the popup menu for multi-select is okay. My device is Galaxy note N7000 ICS 4.0.4 kernel version N7000DXLR5.

I always use a stylus.. my fingers too big for normal use..

If I use the Stylus to highlight or make a note, the menu disappears if I want to make the highlight larger. If I use my fingers it is okay.
