Just wanted to let you all know that we have launched our Back to School Sale. And for the first time you can now get the NICOT and the NICNT as separate sets. Many of you have been asking for this, and we are happy to offer it to you on sale!
Check out the sale now, and spread the word!
Cliff
Are these discounts academic pricing, or does everyone qualify?
It looks like a general sale to me.
They are for everyone to enjoy! Remember to use the coupon codes so you get the discounts.
That's a very good price on the combined NICOT/NICNT.
On pre-pub when it first came out it was $1007.95 for 40 volumes, and another $119.95 for the 4 new ones when they came out. So using the pre-pub program looks like it cost me $37.95 for not waiting. (I have gotten to use them all this time, however.) So if you've wanted these volumes, I wouldn't expect to see them for any less in the future.
Seems like a good set. Unfortunately my pocket is not cooperating.
They are indeed a very good set to have. Like all series there are pluses and minuses; but this is a well respected commentary for a reason.
How long is this good for?
The sale goes through September 13th.
I wonder if they'd do an 18 month payment plan for the NICOT/NICNT set. Many are hurting financially, so it'd be a great help for them.
Blessings!

HMM. I never knew Lincoln got his profile on a Bahamian penny. He has certainly gotten around since his premature demise.
Thanks Logos for the sale. It was a surprise to me. [:)]

I think that would definitely be worth a call to your sales rep. I agree that this is an excellent deal for NICOT/NICNT as it's even cheaper than what I could buy it for using academic discount during the Christmas credit promotion 2011.
Cliff, while sales are always nice, the sad thing for me is that the great sales always seem to consist of pretty much the same sets every time.
When will you have a real considerable discount on Anchor Yale Bible? Given that there hasn't been one for at least two years (perhaps never since prepub?), and given the new Catholic user base, I would expect there to be an accumulated demand. And given that the Dictionary seems to be on sale once or twice a year, I presume it's not a publisher issue.
Also, why can't you have a sale on HALOT when Accordance can? My sales rep has said that he can't remember there ever being a discount on HALOT alone, just the frequent one on the bundle.
fgh, sssshhh! Don't give them any ideas on the Yale Anchor Bible, I can't afford it for another 12 months after this sale on the NICOT/NT.
I was finally able to ring up my salesman and buy this set yesterday. I have had conversations with him as late as two weeks ago about this set and I just have never been able to swallow it financially. Thanks to Logos for getting the publishers to work with the pricing for this special.
The NICOT/NT was on prepub eons ago and I just couldn't take that one time hit of over $1,000 on the card. It was just too much. Sometimes, it helps to be patient.
What is it with these texts? They seem to always suck me back in when I go to the Logos site. I've always considered the weak point with the set that it uses transliterated text for the original languages. I have a hard time reading transliterated text, believe it or not. It gives me a headache and frequently I haven't taken a source very seriously when it used transliteration; but we all know this is not a set to be scoffed at.
I was also able to pick up Barth's Dogmatics and the Baker Exegetical Commentary. I honestly don't know how useful the BEC will be now that I have the NIC, the NIGTC, and Hermeneia/Continental, but I'm willing to give them a shot. For almost $500, it should perform well!
