Use Ext SD Card On Galaxy Tab 2 7?
I just began using Logos Bible software for Android; my internal memory storage ("sdcard") is already full - primarily from Logos resources downloaded. Is there any way the programmers could use the tips in the How-To Geek document below to move resources/data to /mnt/extsdcard? A bit too technical for me... Other than this issue it is great.
Running Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 in. (GT-P3113)
Thanks.

That's part of the problem as my external card is \mnt\sdcard\external_sd; where \mnt\sdcard is the internal card.

Based on what little I know about programming this seems to call for an If Statement" or a CASE Statement...I have read that it's up to the developer as to whether ext. sd card access is allowed. Is there some reason that Logos doesn't want to allow this?

This is where things get confusing in the Android world. Logos wants the device to have an sdcard for the space that it offers and that is where the data files (incl. resources) are stored; the app itself is stored elsewhere. My sdcard happens to be internal, so the problem is getting the data onto my external sdcard AND getting the app to recognise that. Basically, Logos would have to provide a choice during installation; the mount point (location) of the external card should be known from the device.
Do you want to complicate matters by also installing the application on external storage?
