Notes in 3.0 release
I am wondering how to do I keep the file I am working with as the default note file. Everytime I want to highlight something, I have to search through my note file to find the proper one. To me this is a regression.

Please, please, please allow individual notes to expand to the full height of the pane that they appear in. Logos is so close to getting this right. I am kind of new (within the last few months) to Logos and I love it. I am guessing that the philosophy behind notes is the individual verse notes. Therefore, the organization is that there would be short and to the point notes on each verse. The way you organize them with this philosophy works great. However, what I use notes for is to have them along side the scripture in two different panes. I can scroll through my notes and scroll through the scripture as I teach.
Also, is there any way to allow the verses to link automatically when typed in? Olive Tree iPad app does notes fantastically both display and organization. I really like Logos' resources. It would be really nice if I could use the iPad app when I am teaching rather than having to switch from Logos to study and Olive Tree to deliver the message.
Thank you so much for this update, by the way. Fantastic improvement so far!

Kenneth - The same behaviors are available in the new app as in the previous one. Under "Account Settings," there is a section called "Document for Highlights." This is what you need to understand and set to your liking.
I prefer "Most Recent Note Document" which is what I call "sticky." When you change the note document you are working in, it will stay selected until you change it. If you prefer, you can use the "Palette-specific Note Document" which will always put notes into a Note Document named after the highlighter pallet. Finally, you can also select a default note file. Notes will ALWAYS default into that file unless you change it each time.

Agreed, this would be a very useful addition - I don't understand why it is limited in this way at the moment.
Although it may relate to the way in which panes are laid out on the home page - this may be affecting how notes are presented in the reading views.
