Logos 4 crashes online

I used Logos 4 and all was good, but since the latest additions 4 days ago, Logos 4 would never start. When I try to click on Logos icon while I am ONline, the menu appears saying that Logos 4 encounteres an error and will be closed down. It crashes every time

OFFline, it opens OK, but does not display all the graphics and artciles

I ask you to assisst me in this issue

appSettings.config file didn't get updated properly. Try:-

Delete C:\Users\DNS\AppData\Local\Logos4\System\appSettings.config,
Go to Programs and Features in Control Panel, right click Logos bible software 4 and choose Repair.

If anyone has a copy of the DigitalLibraryInstall.log file created when installing the 4.6 update it would help diagnosing this problem. That file can be found in your "Documents\Logos Log Files" if you have logging enabled, otherwise in your Temp folder's "Logos Log Files" folder, which you can find by opening Windows Explorer and typing %temp% into the Address field.

Also, has anyone had reason to edit that file? Windows Installer is probably not replacing the file because it thinks someone has "added value" to it by editing it (and changing its time stamp).

Thanks, Dave, for your help. I was getting frustrated with Logos not opening unless the internet was turned off...and as a teacher I don't generally have time to call Logos Support!
