Sorry, when I try and open the bible I receive and error message:
Error loading book
Could not load the specified book
I downloaded the app yesterday. Everything else seems to work as expected. But the NSRV (my favourite bible) does not load

Thanks for the clarification.
There are a number of resources which the Logos app can't open at the moment - due to character issues - but the NRSV isn't one of them!
Can you post a log file after the crash has occurred and hopefully someone can look at it?
To do this:
- go to the home page of the app
- click on the settings icon at the top right
- press "help"
- press "send support info"
This will open an email dialog box with the logs included as a zipped attachment.
Change the email address to your own and - when you have received the email - post the attachment in a reply to this thread.

There are a number of occurences in the log file of:
"ERROR Unable to open remote logos resource at http://resources.logoscdn.com/lls_1.0.50/2012-08-14T20_42_34Z/NRSV"
I assume this relates to the problem you are seeing.
It looks - to me - as though this is either a communication problem or a problem with one of the Logos servers.
Hopefully someone from Logos will be able to advise on this more fully.

Thank you very much for your interest and assistance so far. I think the error you highlighted is the one that I am encountering. Hopefully it is not too difficult to resolve.

Usually when I click the "i" button I get the same error. Just tried again though and now I the book info - the "green" button currently reads "installing". Not sure if it is frozen? Will wait and see.

Sorry. [:(] I guess "Yes" was a little ambiguous. [;)]
I guess the download attempt failed? Have you tried multiple times? Also, have you tried different internet connections (i.e. at home, at work, at café, etc.)? I know that some users have found success by using a different internet connection.

What is the exact error you are seeing - can you post a screenshot? Also, what version of iOS and Logos are you using, and what is your device?

Sean - You can take screen shots by pressing and holding both buttons at the same time. You will find the picture in the photos app. If you are on Mac with iCloud set up, you can retrieve the picture in iPhoto. Otherwise you will need to email the picture to yourself.

welcome to the forum. If this is a real problem, it would be nice if you could provide us with some more details of what configuration you are using, what you were doing (insert some screenshots), what you were seeing and what didn't work. Some forum users with experience on the iXXXX platform will try to help you - you may phone Logos support as well.
If, however, you just made two bogus edits to establish your user profile and go on to edit spam links into the Logos wiki pages, like the two I just rolled back, it's better you leave this forum without taking more of the time of the users. We are not interested in buying your stuff. Thanks for your understanding.

I seem to have resolved the problem (holding thumbs). I removed the Logos App and reinstalled. Seems to be working fine - I can now open the NRSV.
