New Charles Stanley Collection

I just saw the new Charles Stanley collection, but quick question. I have the old Charles Stanley Bible Study Library (LLS 2.x), the study guides from that collection unlocked, the Charles Stanley on Character collection (LLS 2.x), and the Stanley LifeWorks Library (eBible collection). Does this mean I already have all the included titles in this collection? It seems as if I do.
Thanks!

Nathan - I came here to ask exactly the same question. I see you have already asked it - but no one has answered.
Any thoughts from the MVPs?

My thoughts will not help as I do not own any of the resources mentioned [8-|]

If you go to the Charles Stanley page (make sure you are logged into Logos.com):
http://www.logos.com/products/search?Author=Stanley%2C+Charles&start=0&sort=bestselling&pageSize=60
You can see which of his works you do not own yet.

Thanks for the link. Seems I only need about three or four books. Might be cheaper to do the 15% off coupon on the individual volumes than purchase this collection.
Which brings me to a suggestion for the Logos.com website. It'd be neat in collections where I own ALL individual volumes to the collection, Logos would automatically mark the collection as "owned" instead of as a collection to purchase. Icing on the cake would be, in collections where I own some but not all of the books, highlight the books I don't own so at a glance I can see if it's a better deal to purchase the volumes individually or spring for the collection.

Sounds like we own much the same on Stanley's works Nathan. I have 42 titles at the moment. The collection has 46 and 6 titles I don't own. Which means I'll have 48 if I purchase them all which seems about right because if my memories right the not all the books from Charles Stanley on Character are still available. This collection came with audio book files that used to work in LL2 and L3 but no longer work in L4 (the were accessed by a custom home page) but you can still use the audio files without Logos because this was produced when the audio files were not embedded and were separate mp3 files.

That's how it already should work. If you know cases where it doesn't, please report it in the Website forum.

You can still access them within Logos too. Just need to add a local link in a note to the mp3 file on your computer (file:///C:/...) and they are just a control-click away. [Y]

Wow I am impressed. I am a big fan of Charles Stanley but can you believe it, I don't own any of his books in Logos. I do have a number in print version though. Nathan, how did you find out about this sale? I didn't see anything on the website or receive an email about it. According to the website it is an 84% savings. That is substantial savings. In my case where I don't own any yet, it is an easy decision. Thank-you for the heads up.

Yeah, I installed those two packages back during LLS 2.x, then unlocked the study guides later. Then upgraded to Stanley LifeWorks, so there's only a handful of his books on the Logos side I need.
On the Vyrso side, that's a different story. :-) I'm using Vyrso's store to replace many of my print books I have of his and go more electronic since I'm wanting to eventually go for an iPad and spend most of my book money though Logos. Gives me the benefit of comfortably reading books I'd buy in print and have the Logos searching integration.

I'm using the Stanley audios/sermons, etc, inside iTunes. Mixed them with a bunch of Charles Stanley podcasts I downloaded and synced to my iPhone so I can have inspiration on the go.
Now I'm downloading all of his "Sunday Night" videos each week and syncing them to my TiVo box so I can watch Classic Charles Stanley messages from my TV each week. It's been great!

OK, next time I see the issue I'll report it. I've seen it a few times. Thanks for letting me know!

The beauty of the Logos Blog from my favorite RSS reader app. :-)
For those who've never purchased Stanley on Logos, this is a GREAT deal. For those of us who have, it's great that they're running another sale where we can top of the rest of the books at a good price.
Stanley was the first collection that I used in Logos. Started using it back during LLS 2.x and once I finally got to using Bible software (around the Libronix time) I never looked back. I was hooked. :-)

Seems they've got a Vyrso bundle on sale too now. My credit card better run and hide!

Herein lies the problem. I thought I was doing good grabbing the Logos set. Now do I want the Vyrso set also? Tough decisions.

Since I have most of the Logos set and could easily top off the rest, the Vyrso set makes sense to me. My credit card is already bloated though, and not sure if I want to take it to the Vyrso buffet or not. :-)
