It seems I am hopelessly stuck in Ipad with Logos
I am on this page and stuck, and it goes without saying frustrated too. None of the videos seem to apply, but I surely may have missed something. It has to be so simple but just can't get off this page.
First line says:
Read then LOGOS and Icon
Next line says:
Library Search box Sort by Title 3 lines 4 small squares Arrows Go
Under Go "another search box" then "News" "Find nearby presentations" "Get your doctorate using Logos"

Mark, Thank you for your reply. I have tried to get off of that screen for 2 days.ha I post and then manage to get to the Bible Word Study.
My home screen does not have anything below "Library". I have Colossians 1: in the search box but can't get that to do anything by either tapping or sliding fingers in different directions.
Under "Guides" I do now have Bible Word Study and then Passage Guide.
I am very dense in this and just about believe it is not for my generation but quickly erase that from what mind I have left. ha again I hope

To get a screen shot, press the Home Key and the Sleep/wake button at the same time.
You'll need to transfer it to your computer that has iTunes on it to be able to add it to a Forum posting.

It does sound like Logos is frozen up. Have you tried shutting it down and restarting it?

To shut down logos double press the iPad home button> press down on the logos app intill a red minus sign appears> press the red minus sign>press the iPad home button. Now try opening logos again.

Halo, I am so new to this & did not know how to shut Logos down. But, when I hold the Logos icon down, I get an "X" next to it to delete it. That is all I get thus far.
I bought the Ipad just for Logos & need to learn it, so to both of you I really appreciate your help.

Dont do that! Instead, double click the center button. This should bring up the multi-task bar. Press and hold THAT Logos icon (rather than the one you use to open the app). NOTE: The Logos icon will not appear if it is open.

I think you just deleted Logos.
If you re-install it your problem should be fixed.
To stop a program, double tap the home button (the physical button on the bottom middle on the front of your iPad). Then it will bring up a list of your recent programs. It is here where you tap and hold on the app until the x appears, then click the x to stop the program.

Thank you! I put both of your answers together, and tt worked to shut it down. I didn't hit the button with the "x" beside it so didn't have to reinstall. Again, I so much appreciate the help everyone is providing.

Aahhhh....click is much clearer then press when dealing with a tablet. I'll have to keep that in mind.0
