The screenshot shows that my Highlighting panel is docked with my Favorites panel. The Favorites panel was showing as in the screenshot. Clicking on the Highlighting tab caused the crash. I could reproduce it.

This log is similar to your previous one, which i get when trying to open a layout from L4. When opening from Tools menu I get this:-

Crashes for me every time I try to open the highlighting panel.

Yeah, It seems like anything associated with the highlighting pane (opening from the tools menu, an existing layout that has the highlighting pane, or from a shortcut) crashes it. I'm sure Bradley and the team will solve that problem pretty quickly.
Likewise can replicate Highlighting crash:
