Synchronizing notes
My iPhone is not updating my note files. Is there a way to manually force this to take place? I was thrilled to find I had my notes on the iPhone with a recent update, but not a bit frustrated it sous not seem to update them? I have gone as far as deleting and reinstalling the app, but my notes remain the same.
I tried to search for this topic but returns only an error message

Hi Gene
Notes should sync with the app on your iPhone - sometimes there is a bit of a delay but closing / starting the app should force a sync (shouldn't be necessary to reinstall).
- Is this problem with all of your notes or just some?
- If you create a note on your iPhone does this get synchronised to your desktop environment?

Thanks for your quick response Graham and Alabama24!
Until recently I have not been keeping a close eye on the time it took to update. But in recent weeks I have added several notes, none of which have updated. Some are new notes, others are note files I simply added more content to. I use my notes much like a study bible format so I have many notes, both large and small files. Also, on my desktop i'm still running Logos 3 for it will not install 4. I have 4 installed on my laptop and so I manually take the files from my desktop, transfer them to my laptop, convert them to 4 there. All this is clumsy, I know, but it works. Therefore I do not add notes on my iphone, but rather input them all on my desktop.

Thanks Gene.

For test purposes, can you try creating a note on your iPhone and seeing if it appears on your laptop?
That way we will see if one-way sync works at least - which would eliminate any potential issues with misaligned account details (for example)

Yes, it updated that direction.
Also, after researching a bit more, I discover that there are indeed some notes updating while others are not. It seems that 4 is also adding duplicates of file names. I have discovered at least one. I have a "John, Gospels and letters" and another by the same title only with a (2) at the end.

Alabama,
The content comes from numerous resources. I type many in, others I paste from MS Word or Adobe, while others come as pastes from logos books.
