Preface completely missing from Byzantine Textform 2005
Hi all!
First issue:
I've now deleted and downloaded this several times, and determined that it is completely missing, even though it appears in the table of contents.
Second issue:
Other editions, including UBS4, NA27, and SBLGNT, have a gloss along with the morph data displayed on mouse-over. This might be an extra added by Logos, but I'd like to see it added for the Byzantine Textform 2005 morphologically tagged GNT.
Does anybody agree with me?

What happens when you click on preface in the table of contents? When I do that it takes me to the preface. You might also try typing "Page i" in the box at top because the preface starts on page i. I have version 2012-04-18T18:29:14Z
P.S. I assume you are using L4 because L3 doesn't include the preface but it doesn't include a table of contents either.

I am indeed using L4. And page i brings me nothing but the beginning of Matthew.

Hmmm, so which version of the resource do you have? Click on the letter i in the circle for resource info and scroll down to the bottom. I have the preface and the other info you are looking for in mine.

Strange. I can confirm with Tom that the resource does have a 23 pages preface, just as shown in the TOC.
The resource info should be: LLS:1.0.331 - 2012-04-18T18:29:14Z - BYZPRSD.logos4

Regarding the file, for further comparison, my file size is 6,569,024 (includes preface text and the appendices; April 18 2012).
Regarding glosses, since you asked, I don't see the need myself. If I was to glance at a byzantine type resource I have the Newberry/Robinson interlinear.
For me, I mainly look at Byz2005 on the morphs where much of the differences lie.
But on the same subject, I DO wish Logos carried the 'big boys' (4th century texts; already have the papyri). That's one thing of several items I'll be loading up from A-Company next year with its W7 version (others being the Targums in english and the Samaritan).

I don't think I can help any more then. Just out of curiosity do you have the appendix and list of abbreviations or is that missing as well? If you open the table of contents on the left are they showing there?

Yes, no appendix nor list of abbreviations. The Bible text itself is ok though! Maybe I should call Logos tech support.

Most likely you have your 'Visual Filters' with 'Bible Text' Only checked. That will produce the behavior you're describing.

I see by your other comments that you now have the edition with the morphology and the Preface. What I would like to see available in the Byzantine edition is not only give the morphology but the meaning of the Greek word when I do a mouse over. It is an extra pain to either open the Nestle text or a right mouse click to look the word up. Like any other reader we sometimes come across words that are used only once in the NT or just a few times.

It's much easier: open Tools/Information and it will show you all the info from the miniature morph line neatly in that small right-hand tab on mouse-over, including glosses and definitions according to the lexicons of your choice, i.e. priorization (e.g. it shows L-N even though Byzantine is only indexed by Strongs)

Thanks for the tip. I know about that function! Why didn't I think to use it? (age!). And I thought I knew Logos4...sheesh! I did what you said and got what I wanted.
I don't use the information bar a lot because I have had video crashes from time to time when I seem to overload my video card. But it is an excellent feature.
