It is interesting to compare the rankings of the top 15 Community Pricing listings using the "Bestsellers" sort order with the rankings those listings have using the Progress sort order. I assume Bestselling simply equates to the most bids. Roughly half of the top 15 best sellers (7 out of 15) rank in the top 15 in terms of progress. There are 93 listings currently. Four of the top 15 best sellers rank in the bottom half in terms of progress (47 or higher).

This makes it a little easier to know if a listing is not getting enough bids, or the bid prices are too low.

I leave it up to forum readers to suggest any conclusions that can be drawn from these figures.

1. Preachers Homiletic Commentary - http://www.logos.com/product/8523 - Ranks #12 in Progress

I for one would like to see these get published before some of the newer stuff. The whole works of Ussher (18 vols.)for only $20 what a bargain!

#3 Hastings Encyclopaedia is the only remaining work of Hastings that still hasn't been produced...it should have been the first one. It is one of the best Bible encyclopedias I've ever read, and there is a tremendous amount of ancient cultural information in it as well. I spent lots of money copying extended articles back in college. I'd love to see this get the ol' Hastings push. It deserves it and you'll be glad you did.

Thanks for the list. I don't usually keep up with all the pre pub and pre orders and this helped. I think I'm going to get the Islamic studies. Their religion have always made me curious. Why they do what they do, how they worship allah, how their culture plays into their religion (if you live in the middle east, you're a muslim by tradition), etc, etc... Fascinating and very interesting.
