Classic Studies on the Historical Jesus (12 vols.) pricing??

OK, I know mistakes happen and if that was the case, fine. Last night Classic Studies on the Historical Jesus (12 vols.) was at like $90 and today it's back to a reasonable $30.
The reason I call $30 reasonable is simple: I'm trying to compare it to other "Classic Studies..." that have come forward in this past year.
I didn't fool with the $90 recommendation, but simply bid what was the max I would personally pay, which was $40. Then this morning it was recommended at $30, so I reset my bid to $30. While I didn't bid the redonkulas $90, there were others that did; I could tell because the "think red line" was bumped a bit upwards around the $80 mark. I almost came in here last night and put a post pretty similar to this asking everybody to take note.
I am just curious and I would like to ask a Logos employee to please explain the "behind the curtain" scene of how all of this went down, if you can.
Thanks and you guys are doing great work!

There are no "recommended" bids, only actual bids.
One or more people early on bid $90, so the peak formed there. Then so many people came and bid $30 that the peak moved over there instead. Perfectly normal. Nothing strange at all.

Ok, if you want to play semantics, how about "Projected Price." Either way, it is the same thing. There are projected prices.

You asked why the peak moved. I answered. How is that "playing semantics"?
This new post of yours, on the other hand, that does seem like "playing semantics". What's a "projected price"?

You said that there were not recommended bids. A projected price is a recommended bid.
I apologize, but I have to disagree. The projected price reflects actual bids (at least after people start bidding). No one is recommending anything. Furthermore, someone can project a certain candidate to win public office but that does not imply a recommendation that so be done.
