I can't seem to see in the description (need my glasses checked) if there is a minimal base set or resource set for this video series. I understand it is very basic, but would like to gift it to a pastor friend that has no other experience with Logos, and want to be sure he also has at least the required resources.

I've learned a good bit from these. More, I think, from the Bible Study webinar series than the training pack, although it is useful too -- I liked the webinar format better where it plays through continuously instead of in small chunks on the training series and the webinar kinda gives a walk through of usage scenarios. Still a lot of fluff to wade through, but that's true of most training material. Much cheaper ($5/webinar) though than the MP vids. MP probably has an edge on presentation from the clips I've seen.
I would suggest that he start off with Mark Barnes free videos on wiki. Once you have a good handle on that go deeper with other training videos.
thanks for the suggestions. those sites are part of the list of things that will be provided, but the question hasn't been answered. is there a minimal resouce collection requirement for L4 for this video series?
MP gives the training to all users so I would assume just the Basic Package would be enough for this. I do not recall and have looked over mpseminar.com website and do not see a "minimum" package for camp 1 or camp 2 or your video series...... Again just a basick L4 package so he can do all the ppl search or such. There was only one package that had a requisite L4 deal........Learn to use Greek and Hebrew with Logos Bible Software and that was Scholars......

I assume so as well. If I were to try and answer your question, I would say that the minimum is the minimal cross grade. A base package would be better.
turns out the silver pacakge is minimum or scholars4. kind of dissapointing to realize that you have to spend many hundreds of dollars to get the full use of the videos for "introduction" to Bible study.
Try adding the Logos 4 Minimal Crossgrade. That ought to give you the complete L4 functionality for far less than "many hundreds of dollars".
