Links not working unless resource downloaded?
I purchased Dictionary of Deities and Demons in the Bible, and I already owned Ugaritic Narrative Poetry. I had been playing around on the computer hovering over links in DDD to other texts to see which ones I had, when I went into the other room with my iPad. I found that on my iPad the links to UNP were not working, so I looked to see if maybe I was required to download UNP in order for the links to work. Sure enough, when I downloaded UNP to my iPad, the links from DDD started working.
Is this something that has been known all along?

I am not sure why you experienced this. I don't have the specific volumes you used, but note that other links between works that I own seem to work regardless of whether I have the resources downloaded or not.
Is it possible you did not have an Internet connection when you attempted this? That's the only thing I can think of that would prevent you from seeing a link from a resource you own.

I definitely had a connection. I even downloaded the work right there on the spot....I wonder if it is something to do with the fact that I had just bought DDD. I don't know. It was weird. Later I will delete UNP and see if the links stop working. That would be telling.
