Prayer List on iPad???
Does logos have any plans of m making the prayer list visible on the app on your iPad?

This feature has not been announced for the mobile app. It would be nice.

Apologies: not know what Logos plans for prayer lists; dreaming about some possibilities.
Logos User Voice suggestion => Add prayer list on iphone / ipad / ipod has 295 votes (# 13 of Top ideas).
Personally wishing for Logos status update of User Voice suggestions, especially "started" ones that are publicly in progress.
For example, wiki Mac and PC User Interface Differences => Feature Parity list has many improvements in current Logos 4.5 Beta development cycle, but corresponding Logos User Voice suggestions have no status from Logos ("planned", "started", "under review", ...).

Yes, but also sync for highlighting and notes. The later two will be a part of the next major release. An updated sync infrastructure for reading plans to follow shortly after.

I think this is getting very close! The last two beta releases have been nothing but bug fixes, not any new features. I am hoping it will be by New Years.

On the flip side, while most of the functions are working to the satisfaction of most beta testers, there are still some serious performance issues which may delay release. (Or as several forums members including myself hope will delay the release.)

I've long since put 3 votes for prayer list on Uservoice. I shall be so happy when/?if we get prayer list on iPad. I can undertstand they may need to fix the sync issue first. AM sad that although prayer list has somany votes and is so high on the list, it still has no Logos status. Logos, you'redoing a great jhob- can you now excel yourselves by making it easier for us to pray away from our desks. If I take my laptopand sit in front of the fire with it, it gets too hot. iPad less so.

No. Logos, to my knowledge, has not stated that they will bring this feature to mobile. If it has been specced, I am unaware of it.

I have heard the opposite, that it is a feature Logos would like to have on the Logos mobile app but it has simply been superceded by other priorities...but that it is coming...someday

I didn't mean to state that Logos won't do it (or doesn't want to), but I don't ever remember reading that they were planning to do so.

There is a spec for mobile prayer lists but I'm not sure how or when it will be implemented. I wish I could be more specific!

I notice in the release notes for 5.0b that it says
Prayer Lists
- Implemented synchronization for prayer schedules on prayers owned by other users in shared Prayer Lists. Changing a prayer schedule will synchronize the change across all devices with your account. The prayer schedule will not be changed for other users sharing the Prayer List.
However, as yet, I cannot see this feature on the iPhone / iPad apps. Is it there? If so, where do I find it? Is a "prayer schedule" different from a prayer list?
If it is not there, does this mean that we are now waiting on an updated ios app which will include this feature? Or does the reference above relate to the faithlife app?

Michael - The 5.0b release notes for the desktop application isn't trying to announce any implementation of this feature within the mobile application, as far as I can tell. Prayer lists are not implemented in the current mobile beta.

Thanks for your reply. At least I know that I'm not going mad - the feature is not yet there on iPad / iPhone. What made me think that it would be was that the notes say "on all devices with your account." Am I right to hope that this means that Logos is working on getting it out to iDevices?

Hi Michael,
The Logos 5 release note that you refer to should not have said "all devices" - it was an oversight on our part. Currently I am unaware of plans to add prayer list syncing to the existing mobile apps. This doesn't mean it won't eventually happen but to my knowledge we are currently not working on it.

Prayer list syncing would be a huge bonus for the Logos iOS versions. I am trying to be better at following thorugh with those who I commit to praying and desire to use Logos, but find it frustrating that I need to go to my desktop version to remind myself of my prayer list.
Granted this is not a huge issue in the big scheme of things, but seems like a feature that could easily be added and would greatly improve the product.

You might consider entering a vote for Prayer Lists at our UserVoice suggestion site: https://logosmobile.uservoice.com/forums/190765-logos-mobile-apps/suggestions/3616455-add-prayer-lists . The more votes, the easier it is to make the case for adding this feature.

I recently found out that prayer lists are available in the FaithLife application but, so far, I find that application far from intuitive and it is not all that easy to use on iPad / iPhone. I drove myself half mad trying to add my prayer points on the iPad following instructions off the net only to find that it simply did not work in the ios app. When I opened FaithLife in a browser all worked as the instructions said it should.
But why should I have to open another app to access my prayer points - particularly one which feels half-baked in comparison to the Logos app which I have paid for? If Logos can make this work in FaithLife why can't they add it as a feature in Logos itself?
PS: I have voted for this feature at the UserVoice site.

Hi Michael,
I apologize if you are disappointed. Logos apps for iOS are free and not every feature available in Logos 5 is (or will be) available in the mobile apps. However, I'm glad you voted since that is currently the best way to gain more visibility for this feature request.
