I received the notifying Email, but it has not yet downloaded, though I have opened the program.

Hello David,
I usually type "update now" Into the command line if I'm not sure if something is going to download or not. This could also trigger a beta update or some other form of update if you're on the appropriate channel.

You can type 'update resources' in the command bar. This takes a while, but it will check to see if any of your resources need to be updated.

It has been a long time since I have received a notification email on any resources. They simply download into the program. It has also been a long time since I have received notification of someone replying to a post. I always check the 'email me replies to this post' but always need to check the forum online to see if a reply came through. I have thought this strange, but it has been reality for many months.

1) Have you checked your spam filter?
2) Have you checked that the e-mail address for your account is what it should be?
3) If you've done both these things, you could go to David Ladige's profile page, click on Add Comment and repeat what you said above. He's the forum admin, he knows how to fix things like this. Or you can call Customer Service tomorrow.

Well I emailed David Ladige just as you suggested and now, ten days later, he still has not replied and the problem is still not fixed

Sorry to hear that. He usually fixes things like this pretty fast. But I see he hasn't posted since Sept 28, so it's possible he's ill or on vacation or something. Either way, try the other alternative instead: Logos' Customer Service.
