Searching for passages in mobile app (iphone)
I must be missing something but in this newer version of the mobile app I'm having difficulty figuring out how to do a simple word search for example. It seems way less intuitive than the old version. Anyway when I do get it to search, the search give chapter and verse but not book so it is almost impossible to use when looking for a longer search list. For example I was searching for bitter that turns out to be in Psalm 106:33. I knew it was in Psalms, but that gave me very little help since the list doesn't list books.
What am I missing?

Hi Dale,
This is a known problem. It was reported many weeks ago and we are still waiting for a fix. See this thread for one example:

Hi Dale,

Yes, I can confirm that this is still broken in v. 3.0.3.

I just searched for faith on the current iOS version. When Bible is selected in search pane (as apposed to "basic") verse numbers appear and are in order. When I had "basic" selected it showed "chapter 2" and were not in order. When searching basic it also searches chapter headings.
If this is not what is occurring which translation are you using? Could the file be corrupted and need to be downloaded for offline use again.
Are you doing something different?

Is this an issue with the iPhone and not the iPad?

Can you outline explicitly the steps you are taking, what you expect to see, and the results you are getting? Do my screen shots below help, or am I missing the point?
Yup. I did it on August 28 here: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/53767.aspx
Nothing has changed.
As far as I recall this is an iPhone/iPod Touch problem and not an iPad problem.
Regards,
Paul
