A Greek lemma Bible Word Study returns results from the New Testament, the LXX, the Apostolic Fathers, Philo, and Josephus. Missing are any results from the Old Testament Greek Pseudepigraphia. Is this a bug or a feature?
Thanks.

Brad,
Results in most reports are determined by the priorities that you set on your resources. Where is the OTGP prioritized in relation to those other resources?
Chris
Chris:
Below (but still prioritized). I wouldn't want to eliminate one of the others (Philo? , Josephus?). I'd like the word study to include all NT and quasi-NT Greek resources.
Brad
I'd say it's a bug. Prioritising doesn't help. It seems that "Textual searches" is not configured to include those results, whereas in my mind it should include all morphologically tagged texts (without unnecessary duplication, of course).
Mark,
I'm not sure I'd call it a bug, but a design feature that could/should be changed.
A bug, to me, is something that is not working the way it was intended.
I think this does.
I don't have a greek text of Josephus or the Greek Pseudigraphia, but do have a Greek of the Apocrypha. My searches include Bible, LXX, Apostolic Fathers and Philo.
I think the issue is that the Pseudigraphia is not indexed on lemmas but only on the surface text (the actual word forms) - If you click on the "i in a circle" on the right side of the locator bar when you have a resource open it tells you what aspects of the resource are indexed. If the BWS is drawing on lemma form it won't be using the Pseudigraphia. You'll have to check.
My Philo (with morphology) indexes on the surface and the "form - manuscript form of an interlinear word" - that's the lemma. BWS, I think, requires morphology to be searchable. My Apostolic Fathers is the same. I've several morphological (i.e. Interlinear) Bibles and LXX that index on the Interlinear.
Rick or Bradley form Logos may have to confirm this.
If so, then you might want to ask that they add an interlinear to the Pseudigraphia.
However, all that said, if your Greek Pseudigraphia has an interlinear, then it potentially is a bug. It still could be a design feature to limit this report to 5 texts. If you re-prioritize your resources and run a BWS and it shows, then that would be the limitation. If you re-prioritize (put the Pseudigraphia first) and it doesn't show (and it has an interlinear or index on morphology) then it is a bug.
We should perhaps have made clear the resource we're talking about is called "Old Testament Greek Pseudepigrapha with Morphology". It's ignored, regardless of its priority. So we're all agreed! It's a bug.
Yes, I think its a bug. Try as I might with re-prioritizing, etc., I can't get any results from the Greek OT Pseudepigraphia.
Just tagging this thread as a bug.
Just to say that this is fixed in 4.0a beta 1.
