Parsing error on opening
I am running Android 2.1 (I think) and have tried downloading all of the upgrades only to get the message "Parse Error" What is causing this?

The new app versions support Android 2.2 and up, so that's why it's not installing for you.
Unfortunately, we forgot to fix the check for updates on 2.1 devices -- we're looking into that bug.

Sorry for the delay in posting on this thread.
It's here -- just use the Android 2.1 install link. The app version is 1.1.4. http://downloads.logos.com/Android/Logos/stable/index.html
Note that we do not officially support Android 2.1, so we cannot guarantee the app's lifetime on that platform. We encourage users to consider upgrading to a newer device if possible in the near future!

Ok. It downloaded, but my phone will not let it load since it is not sourced from the Anroaid market. How do I override that security feature?

If you open up Settings / Applications you should see an option to allow for non-Market installs. This needs to be enabled to install the downloaded apk. Here's what it looks like on my 2.2 device.
After installing the downloaded app you may want to disable this option again for increased security.
