Not downloading with Update Now Command.

I find that update now rarely updates to a new version for me. What does work invariably is Set update channel to [current channel]. I don't know why it works better than update now but it does.

My Reverse Interlinears are gone. But I am not sure what is the problem since I installed a full version of Windows 8 yesterday (yes!) and re-installed Logos 5. So it might be a broken installation.

EDITED: They are there in the Resources folder, just not working.

OK, after using SCAN command for the backup resources it fixed the problem. Very good because I am preparing tomorrows sermon. Really bad time to play with the new Windows and Logos 5. [:$]

It almost looked like that. I installed Logos 5 overnight and something went wrong since it downloaded 1000 (out of 3600) resources although I used a backup copy to do a quick install.

So, as you said, George could sneak in here under the cover of the night and delete my Reverse Interlinears. Our Labrador dog is so old that he is almost deaf and our Swiss mountain dog (the real guardian in the house) was with our grandparents this night [:D]

There is approximately a two to three second delay when opening Layouts. Is this normal. No matter how many times I have to open a layout it is the same amount of time. All other drop down menus are snappy once they have been accessed once.

I have exactly the same experience. Everything else feels very crisp and responsive. The delay is noticeable and, as you say, 2 to 3 seconds.

When using the new display code opening a layout is more responsive than using the old display code. 2 to 3 seconds is OK.

Sorry Dave. Logos has me spoiled. Everything else is spontaneous, once you have opened it once. Thus the 2 to 3 seconds seems very long. Hopefully this can be fixed before it ships.
