Speaker Callout Humor and Correction Needed (Titus 1:12-13)

Check out the speaker callout here in Titus 1:12 where Paul is saying (Titus 1:13) that the statement being made is true and the callout says that the speaker is defined by making false statements :-). Perhaps a speaker title here such as "Cretan Prophet" would be more appropriate (although I agree they were false teachers, the text certainly isn't calling them such here).

Jacob, I was getting ready to post when I saw yours. I plead a bit of ignorance, I didn't know what the "megaphone" thing was, and had never seen it until this morning. I looked through all the "new features" of alphas and betas so far, but did not see it mentioned. Even tried a search in the forum. Did I miss it?

Anyway, I am confused about what this is good for, but more importantly, wanted to draw attention to its odd placement (in the middle of a word) and seeming irrelevance to its textual context: sometimes "Jesus, Son of God" is the pop up, when the symbol is not near any speech or direct reference to Jesus--as an example.

Am I offbase on my observations?

Have you never read a passage that the speaker was unknown or difficult to discern? Of course, there will be interpretive decisions to be made… you and I may not agree with Logos on those choices. [;)]

You should be able to fix this by running "update resources".

Dan, this is indicative of an early problem with L5 not updating the default Bible. The ability of L5 to update the default Bible is fixed, but still needs an update resources command to force it.

If the NRSV was not your default Bible when you upgraded to L5, or you updated to L5 more recently, you may have another issue.

I'm running Beta 4, I think I came in on Beta 2 . . . okay, I will see what happens. NRSV has been my default for some time. I apparently have not updated my work laptop that I am on now. thanks.
