How about adding E.W. Bullinger's notes from The Companion Bible as a Logos book?
It's out of copyright, so you all could ca$h in.
Since all the old timers appear to tolerate your constant belittleing and borderline vulgarities, I don't expect them to rebuke you now. Actually I think you'll find that a number of the old timers do regularly comment when they feel that George has posted something that could be perceived as offensive both here on the new forums and on the previous news group. Personally I respect George's opinion and his right to express it but I definitely wish he was gentler sometimes. Lots of Priests & Levites in these forums, Now I assume this was meant as a global personal attack on and false characterisation of the old timers (can we actually be old timers on forums this new?) am I offended? No! Matthew 5:39

Sorry Graham,
I should not have used the global descriptive "all" when "many" or "the most vocal" would be more accurate. It is the deafening silence of the most verbose which amazes me. When a child misbehaves in public there is usually some wise senior that speaks up. Here, in the middle of a Bible software forum, you would think there would be a Priest, Preacher or Levite who would give some correction. (Those who are aware of Brother Richard admonishing me in another post should appreciate this mentoring activity. I know I do.)
I don't know why this post on Bullinger's Companion Bible Notes should have degraded into this. I know everyone reading this is aware of the VAST scope of theological writings LOGOS has already published and has coming down the pipeline. There is no way an honest, thinking person can say everything is correct and complimentary. That does not give someone moral liberty to publicly brand someone a "kook" for reading or discussing divergent views. And the moral laws of Christ are stricter than our so called freedom of speech.
Still, I feel George's post (regardless of Whom it was written) is nothing more than a personal attack denegrating someone bought with the Blood of Christ..
Thanks Ted,
I'm done.
Thanks Ted, I'm done
I'm done
Thank you my Brother, you have shown Christian maturity, may the Lord bless & keep you.
Yours in Christ
Ted
Speaking of Bullinger and kooks, this kook would like to see more Bullinger, like "The Witness to The Stars".
I have not said anything about what I personally believe; though, I am sure the analytical will make assumptions (right or wrong).
God bless you and keep you,Ken

Hi Ken,
The Witness of the Stars IS available in Logos format. Check this out: http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/GS_BULLWITNESS

Hey George,
My everyday Bible is the ESV; is that ok with the "AV types"?
I like Bullinger and I believe his "Witness to the Stars" book is very interesting; is that starting something?

Thanks Mike, I have looked for it on Logos before and not found it - thanks again!
Bullinger appendix 195 is the only dispensational system that works, it would be a great asset to include it in the software. However it does teach against all of what logos stands for. Thank you but I don't think Bullinger is for your tea drinking. (your cup of tea)
I must have missed Logos' "What We Stand For" Declaration. [C]
If it is garnered from their current list of published titles it is a very convoluted & confused statement indeed! After all, Logos has come closer to achieving The Rainbow Coalition in the user base than any politician could ever hope to achieve. [;)]
I don't believe there would be many qualms about adding more Bullinger to the growing list. Many users would welcome it.

It works?

You know,
When I started this thread all I wanted was to suggest that Logos publish ALL of the notes to the Companion Bible (not just the 198 appendixes) and I thought that there would be no controversy about this.
Wow - was I wrong.
At any rate, I'd like to once again suggest that Logos take a look at producing the Companion Bible in it's entirety. It is a good source of Bible knowledge and a student with discernment can find some real gems in it. It is NOT under copyright, so Logos doesn't have to pay royalties on it to anyone.
JUST DO IT.
You did see that the Notes are available as a PBB on the Files NG?
Nope-
I'll have to go find them. Thanks for the tip.
Could someone please repost it here or provide a link where it can be found?

RIGHT ON ! ................MikeM,
Everybody wants to ban everything they don't like from anybody having access to it! How about for Christmas Logos gives us Fahrenheit 451? [6]

Has anyone found the file? Could it be re posted here please?
I was raised in a church which taught dispensationalism. I practically walked around with a Schofield Reference Bible in my hip pocket. I'm familiar with all of their silly charts. I know how they slice and dice scripture to make it say what they want it to say. No, I'm not outside my field. They make a mockery of scripture. I'm opposed to it because I'm all too familiar with it and have come to see its errors. Thanks George for your response i get to know you better - An Anglican who was a dispensationalist, who went to Calvin college/seminary now finds himself on the left. Keep searching for the truth, take care & regards.God BlessSir T… search for truth, hear truth, learn truth, love truth, speak the truth, hold the truth, defend the truth till death.- Jan Hus

Whoa! Calvinists are on the left? Now THAT comes as news to my friends and acquaintances! [:^)]
Mike....I agree. It would be wonderful to have access to the Appendices of the Companion Bible. Even better, the entire work would be a blessing to have in Logos format.
God bless,
Greg
