Different books show up when I launch logos

When I launch the logos app, sometimes my preferred bible shows up and sometimes a book I have previously read from the library shows up. It is not always the last book I read but I book I receiently read. I am not for sure what I have done to cause this to happen. What can I do to have it have my preferred bible show up when I launch the app? Or I would be be happy if it opened the last book I had open when I close the app.

How are you "closing" the app? If by closing you mean simply going back to the home page or opening another app it's possible that the Bible app continues to run in the background. In this case "opening" the Bible app would simply be reactivating it and would immediately show you the last location you were reading. On Android 4.0+ devices you can "close" inactive apps by pressing the Recents button in the onscreen navigation bar (typically the far right button that looks like two stacked rectangles) and then swiping the app icon to the left or right.

You can tell if the app is being opened if you see the sign in page briefly before your book appears. If the app is being reactivated the app will display whatever state it was last in when you left it.

I'm curious if some of the inconsistent behavior you are experiencing is related to the app being started versus reactivated.

Could you please provide some additional information including:

Which version of the Bible app are you using?
What type of Android device are you using it on? (Model and Android version is appreciated)

I am using Logos on my phone. It is a Driod 3 running 2.3.4. The version of logos I am running is 2.1.2 Buld 57. I use the back button to exit. That seem to be the only way. I do know sometime my startup book will change and sometimes it will not.

I just updated logos to 2.2.3 Build 60. It was just available in the app store today. It still has the same problem.
