Logos 4 or 5 on Samsung Galaxy Note
I would like to know whether it is possible to have a full view (similar to the home page that can be seen on laptop, be it Windows 7 or 8) on a Samsung Galaxy Note, which is an Android 4.0.4. I have been using Logos n my Samsung but I don't seem to have that full view. Please advise. Thanks. (Frank)

Hi Frank,
Welcome!
Firstly, a confession, I am an iOS user and so am not as familiar with the 'droid app.
I thought it was worth clarifying, however, that it is not possible to run the desktop software on the 'droid OS. What you are, in fact, downloading is an app with some stripped back functionality which mirrors the desktop software. The mobile apps (both 'droid and iOS) do not, therefore, mirror the home page from the desktop software.
I hope this clarifies. [:D]

Welcome to the forums Frank The Logos app for Android will not give what you are asking for. Neither the Android software or the tablet has the necessary power to do what the desktop/laptop is able to do.
Sorry. Windows 8 Pro Tablet will be able to do what you are asking.

Frank, let me also welcome your to the forums. As the previous answers have mentioned the Mobile apps for both the iOS and Android systems are not as powerful as the as the desktop application as they rely on the cloud to do any heave lifting (like run guides). However, if you use an app designed to remote into a regular computer you can "use" Logos from your tablet.

Hi Kevin,
What app will allow a remote access, say, to my laptop? Must my mobile be within close proximity, like at home using wifi, or can it be accessed for afar?
Thanks

I agree with Lynden, I've had good luck with LogMeIn. However, the Android app is fairly pricy. I might instead go with a free option like TeamViewer. Just search for "remote desktop" and consider your options. They all should involve installing an app on your tablet and on your computer. Both need to be connected to the internet to work. You'll likely have to set you laptop to be on all the time so you can use it when you're out and about.
