BUG: Logos 5 - Opening Library crashes program

I have logos 5 Plat, the library used to work. I went back to it and everything else works in the program.
Anyone else have this problem? I have it installed on a desktop and laptop both running windows 8. It crashes on both which is very strange.

Are you saying that it crashes when you try to open the library but otherwise runs fine?
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

ok SOLVED - but I hope someone from Logos reads this.. This is really strange.
1. Open logos 5
2. hit library
3. under in "Entire Library" change that to (anything pick something)
4. click 'x' - close the tab
5. hit Library icon -- program should crash
to fix.
1 start logos 5
2 right click lib tab and say "open in new tab"
3. change in "whatever you picked" to in "entire library"
4. hit the "x"
5. program will still crash if you hit lib key again, so close logos
now program should run normally.

Travis what version of Logos are you running. The latest version is Logos 5 SR-3 if it's not the current version updating might help.

There is a problem with accessing the Library in L5 and Logos is aware of it. See http://community.logos.com/forums/p/58408/415692.aspx for a discussion of this

The problem started IMHO with SR-3. Logos knows about it already. Hopefully they will solve it soon.

Thanks for the replies.. I hope this is part of SR-4 fix. I'm glad others have found it also.
Hopefully my suggested fix will work as a "workaround" until L fixes it.

Yes, this should be fixed in SR-4.

Had the same problem and figured out I could use the "open in new tab" to at least use my library. I just tried what worked for you and my program is currently running normal. Thanks Travis
Aside from this issue... the update features really are a great step forward. Hope the next update cures the problem.
