Bug: Issue with Parsing and Pop-up in Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament

I discovered two (possibly related) bugs while looking through my Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament.

First, when I hover over μηδὲν in Mark 5:26 the parsing information displays at the very top of the window rather than the bottom. If I scroll through Mark, I am able to find a couple of words where this occurs. See screenshot example below.

Screenshot:

Second, when I hover over any of the greyed out words the parsing information only displays for about a half-second before it disappears and a information pop-up displays. It would be nice if both of these items would be displayed at the same time, rather than having one pop-up very briefly before the other one takes its place. The screenshot below shows how this happens with the same word from the previous bug above (μηδὲν in Mark 5:26).

    Hi Jonathan

Just to say that this looks like a Mac-specific issue.

It seems to work fine on Windows

Cannot confirm this on OS 10.7.5. Believe Bama reported this during the beta cycle using 10.8.

I have this when  hover over μηδὲν or any other word in the verse

This has been reported before, but we have had some trouble reproducing it. What operating system are you using?

I am able to reproduce this issue on Mac. I will create a report on this issue for Development.

    I am running OS X 10.8.2.

I am not sure if this will make a difference, but when this occurred, I had my Logos window divided in half, with the clausal analysis resource on the right hand side of the screen and a couple of other resources on the left.

I am on 10.8.2 and I experienced the first issue in the past, but I have not been able to replicate it recently… I wish I knew where my original post was so that I could replicate the circumstances...

I can confirm the second issue on my Mac as well.

When I read this post tonight, I had already installed L5.0 SR4. (What version are you running Jonathan?)

When this first occurred, I believe I was running SR3. I haven't checked to see if it still occurs in SR4. I will give it a try and repost in a few moments.

I can confirm that this is only happening to me when I have the Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament open on the right hand side of my screen (as seen in my Screenshot in my first post).

The original forum thread is here: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/57271.aspx

That thread was in the Logos 5.0 beta forum, so I am quoting  the content of your post here so non-beta users can see the bug you were originally experiencing. The content of your original post is:

When I hovered over "you may be sure" (Eph 5:5, ESV), the popup info appeared at the top instead of the bottom. The same thing happens with "God's wrath" in the NIV (Eph 5:6). This is repeatable.

Like the problem on my computer, I notice that problem is caused by Alabama's resource that was open on the right side of his screen.

Noticed that this issue is occuring in this thread with the Lexham Hebrew Bible. (Quote below from linked thread)

Having a look at the different parsing info just by mousing over I keep noticing that the parsing info keeps getting displaced to the top of the screen when its really long (for short ones that fit within the panel its fine) do you reckon that's a bug?

This issue will be fixed in 5.0a Release Candidate 1 for beta users, and in general when 5.0a ships to the stable channel.
