I wanted to take some time to share how logos has allowed me  to continue in my studies in the aftermath of this terrible hurricane.  I just recently took on the role as lead pastor (@ 28 yrs old) at a church on the south shore of Long Island.  Within 5 weeks of taking this role hurricane Sandy, the worst storm that this area has ever seen, came in and flooded our church destroying many of my books and even filling the top drawer of my desk.

Though I lost many books that were very dear to me (ex: hard cover ironside commentaries) I was comforted that my entire logos library was still in tact and able to be accessed to continue my studies.  I have also been spending nearly every day coordinating relief efforts in my area.  Logos pulls through again for me and I am able to perform solid study between all the work serving our community.  All the time I have been able to save in my studies has been able to transfer to serving those in great need.  Though I was very pressed for time and energy I was able to perform study for my sermon this past week as if I had an entire library and research assistants working hard with me to understand and apply scripture.

Just wanted to say thanks and how much I appreciate the tool Logos has been able to be for me in my unique circumstance!

Please keep me in prayer as we try to continue to serve our community and be the light here!!
