I noticed that in Beta testing and there never seemed to be an explanation for it. It still happens. I noticed yesterday. It happens when the tabs get 'squeezed together' and one tab fluctuates between having a longer and shorter name. Irritating and difficult to reproduce.

Not sure if it is 'exactly' the same thing but something like this happened to me when firefox 4 came out originally. Now and then a release of firefox does this to me.I have noticed that occasionally Logos 5 Tabs will vibrate back and forth [continually]. When I close and reopen the program , however, it gets back to normal.
This occurred mainly on the top part of the window (where the tabs were).
not sure if this helps Logos directly - but if it is related - there might be a discussion on some forum for firefox.0 -
Rosie seems to have found a reproducible case: BUG: L5 SR-4: Tab flickering
Mac Pro (late 2013) OS 12.6.2

There is currently a case open for this issue. I have added a link to this thread to that case.

I have experienced this several times and in each case, L5 becomes almost unresponsive until the tab is closed.

And sometimes it's nearly impossible to close the offending tab. I've had to terminate the process once, it was so bad.

I have noticed this as well. Thanks for posting.
I have also noticed that the Information panel seems to "labour" a bit. Perhaps not surprising given what it is now presenting, but it is (I believe) the only aspect of Logos 5 that seems a bit sluggish for me.

This should be fixed in 5.0b Beta 1 for beta testers, and in general when 5.0b ships to the stable channel. If you continue to see this issue after updating, please let us know.

Just want to add that on my laptop the flickering tab will nearly freeze L5. My desktops to not do this although I have a lot more space on the screen. I don't want to be a beta tester so I hope this is fixed soon for the rest of us. A lot of my notes are prepared on the laptop and it can be a problem when under time pressure..

The work around is to delete a tab, or move one of the tabs to a different column. Sometimes just a different sort order may help - at least theoretically.
Note that this problem as been around since the pre-release beta of L5, and it has been notoriously difficult to reproduce. If you have a screen shot that you could upload, and give your current screen resolution, it may help the dev's get to the bottom of this.

I know this is an old discussion, but I'm having this same issue with Logos 7. What to do?
