Logos 5 has become seriously s__l__o__w today.

Logos 5 has today become seriously slow. Every click brings up my iMac's spinning pizza. I'm running Logos 5.0 SR-4 (5.0.0.1835). This is my normal Sermon Preparation layout. (Nothing unusual there).
Hardware and OS under my signature (the iMac line).
I've cleared History.
Any ideas?
Every blessing
Alan

Peace, Alan, and Every Blessing to you also!
Just for your information L5 windows is working sharply and crisply for me. In my mind's eye I think L5 is faster than L4. Hopefully, Alan, someone can provide some kind of good ideas and help for you; however, I want to thank you very much for reminding me to "clear" my History. I do like to do that now and again just as a matter of principle! Always Joy in the Lord, Alan! May our Gracious God give you every Good Health Blessing from day to day! *smile*

Sounds like advise I would give to a PC users, but have you tried rebooting? There is a post that discusses a possible memory leak somewhere in the forums on L5 Mac. I have not encountered it, but I do believe rebooting fixed it. Now if you are waiting for a Logos Employee to advise you regarding logs etc, then you should wait.
I think that was the fix.

If you noticed that you have a resource tab that is trying to resize itself, this may be causing the problem. It has been discussed in several different threads. I know this is a PC issue, so I don't know if Mac has the same problem. Closing the suspect tab fixed the problem for me.

Select Tools and then history. A new tab will open up. Select the clear button.

John is correct in that Logos sometimes requires us to think like a Windows user [:(]. I experienced this one time and Kevin Purcell (I think) started a thread about it. Restarting the Mac seems to fix the issue.

Thanks for all the advice. Closing the Exegetical Guide actually helped most to speed things up a bit. But restarting the iMAc just felt so weird. I just never have to do this before except for an OS update – and my iMac is 3 years old now! However, I did it but can't say that I saw much improvement.
Today things are still slow but not seriously s–l–o–w as yesterday.
Finding L5 a great piece of software, though I was sceptical about it before launch.
Every blessing

I'm finding it to be a great piece of software as well, but have crashed it five times in one week. I'm travelling, so when I stop I will be starting the grind to submit logs again! [:(]

Not necessarily making a comparison, but your remark stirred up memories [:D]
