Black Friday Like-a-thon

I just received an email for choosing the Black Friday sales encouraging me to "start liking."  The problem is that there is no provision to like any particular resource.  It is all to purchase.  I think it likely that the wrong link has been inserted.  Can others confirm this?

I heard about this a week or two ago. I griped to Logos about the fact that those of us who explicitly avoid Facebook have no way to influence what will end up getting discounted.

In any case, the details page for any particular product on the Logos web site has a "Like" button, I believe. My understanding was that this was how people were to vote for what they wanted to get discounted.

While I use Facebook rarely would I use the like function for a Logos product.  I do not wish to flood my friends pages with Logos advertising material. Besides that,  To me a like-a-thon is not encouraging Christian behaviour and thought patterns, but that's just my perspective, other's I'm sure will disagree.

When you are on a product description page look under the product photo and you should see a "like" button for Facebook along with a Twitter "tweet" button, etc. I may be incorrect but is this what the Black Friday Sales" uses?

EDIT: I should have read Donnie Hale's post more carefully.  Thanks for saying it first, Donnie.

Maybe most Logos users are too old, and therefore, not "hip" enough for this type of promotion?  Ok my use of the word "hip" was probably not very youthful on my part. [:$]  Just one old guy's opinion with Facebook who will not be "liking" anything - sorry Logos.

    Regards

Well, since I am only 38, I think I'll do it since I'm getting tired of having nothing that I would care to buy on these sales.

Your profile says 39.  However it's said that for a while, so I suppose your age does have to change eventually.  Time to update the profile.

Actually, I was 38 when that was put up.  I'll be 39 on my next birthday.  [;)]

Good thinking George, it saves having to remember to update it when you do eventually turn 39.. [<:o)]
