Search Helps Suggestions

Hi All,

I just upgraded to Logos 5 and really enjoy the search helps, but I did have a question and I thought maybe you could help.

I have a note file with "Daniel 4:1 - 5:30" written within one of the notes exactly as I wrote it here (without the quotation marks.)

When I do an entire library basic search for Daniel 4:11, I want this note file to appear in the results. However when I try the following search operators:

Daniel 4:11

the only one that returns that particular note file is the one with "intersect" in it. I suppose my question is: Is there a better way to search for Daniel 4:11 to get my note to return in the search results and if not, what is the best way to suggest to Logos to put the "intersect" search operator in their list of search helps so that other people can benefit from it as well?

They already have "Bible Reference" (Exact Match)" so adding in Intersect (and other) operators is clearly possible.

I guess the tradeoff they would have to make is how many of these helps they include without it getting too cluttered and how easily they could explain things like Intersect in this type of style

You make a great point Graham. The clutter with all the different operators is probably the reason that I continued to miss the "Bible Exact Match" operator each time I looked through the list until you pointed it out.

Oh great, I remember asking for this feature what seems like 10 years ago and now that it is here I can't use it without spending $800.00 on a new computer because I'm still on Win-XP and now I'm retired and cant justify spending the money since no other program I use or desire requires an updated operating system.

I know, I'm just being a cry-baby

John, if I am not mistaken, Logos 4 can do this, and it runs of XP.

Logos 5 added root search plus Image and Clause.

Thankful for Dell and Apple refurbished models that are practically like new, including 1 year warranty. Dell adds a refurbished sticker to the computer while Apple places refurbished on the shipping box.

Caveat: Windows 8 user interface is visibly different than Windows XP and benefits from a touch screen.
