BUG: Treatment of LXX in BWS - Greek word

1. Create a BWS on the Greek word "logos"

2. Set the translation section translation to Logos LXX.

3. Expand the Septuagint translation section. Note that there are some 1193 occurrences of Logos and that the distribution bar considers the entire LXX canon. Also note that the Septuagint Translation heading bar does not permit the setting of a translation.

4. Expand the translation section for which you'd set the translation to Logos LXX. Note that we suddenly have only 328 occurrences and the canon is limited to the New Testament. Note that 3 of the Verbum packages have at least 3 interlinear LXX's.

Expected behavior:

1. That the Septuagint Translation section be used for the Hebrew ==> Greek interlinears.

2. That the Septuagint appearing in the Translations section be used for the Greek ==> English interlinears and use the Septuagint canon.

To be clear, do you mean the Septuagint Translation section should allow you to choose which Hebrew>Greek Interlinear is used? (Just want to make sure I understand what you mean.)

You could also choose a Greek-English Interlinear Septuagint! Rahlfs' Greek-Hebrew is clearly preferred as it incorporates the L5 data.

At the moment this Septuagint choice is a bug because the results come from a preferred Reverse Interlinear bible - ESV, NRSV etc; which is English->Greek (or English->Hebrew for a Hebrew word). What was the intention of adding Rahlfs to this section?

OK, I see what is happening. Rahlf's will be used for a Hebrew BWS and the preferred RI is used for a Greek BWS, whist still showing Rahlf's as the selected bible. Really confusing..

Note that 3 of the Verbum packages have at least 3 interlinear LXX's.

The Septuagint Translation section requires the presence of a reverse interlinear (as differentiated from an interlinear). I believe the Logos LXX is currently the only resource that meets that requirement; in that case, having a settings menu for that section would not be necessary.

That Bible should not appear in that section. That bug has been reported.
