Two L5 Random Questions

Two quick random questions about L5:
On the Mac version, I tried upgrading from L4 to L5 using "Update Now" in the Command Bar, and it worked. It upgraded me to the L5 engine, downloaded all my new books and content, and put the L4 app in the trash.
My question is, are there any other L4 plist files or anything else from L4 that needs to be cleaned up on my machine or am I all set there?
It also seems that Sermon File is back in L5:
Sermon & Illustration Files
Upload your sermons or illustrations with the Personal Books tool. Logos indexes them automatically, so you can find them by date, passage, speaker, tags, topic, or venue.
I'm not sure how to use it though. When I launch the Personal Books tool, it looks the same as L4 to me. How do you add Sermon Files to L5?
Thanks!

Hey Nathan!
Glad you joined the upgraded version of MAC - I believe you'll love it.
First off, there are some files still left out in your user file. They are not really cluttering anything up and, personally, I would leave them.
As far as the "Sermon File", it is actually handled by the "Personal Book" tool. It's going to look the exact same as the L4 tool. The additional options for sermons came in the form of an upgrade to the syntax of the tool.
You can see the information here:

Hi Alex!
Performance has been excellent so far. Much improved.
Sounds good on the user files. I'll just leave them if they're not hurting anything.
I'm not able to see the entire menu for the type of book (it's getting cut off) which is probably where the Sermons section is in the book. Do I need to file a bug report with a screenshot about it?
Also, does the L5 Personal Book tool import the Sermon File projects from L3 in to re-compile them, or do I have to run my Word docx files through it like other L4 PBB's?
Thanks!

This has been reported by means of a screenshot somewhere in the Forums.

Sorry, they must be re-compiled. Many of us were using Word .doc files in the L3 Sermon File.
But as you are aware, the new PB must be made from the newer .docx files -- this is the same requirement for the new version of Sermon files
All the best.

Excellent on it being reported. I'll await a service update so I can use it. :-)
Thanks for the info about re-compiling. I can handle that. I've converted all my Sermon Files to docx, so running them through should be easy.
When sharing them, will they show up under Sermons.Logos.com like the L3 SF?

You'll need to make sure that all of them have the right table inside that triggers the automatic indexing. Probably you want to have all of them in one Logos PB with one index.

Currently there is no sharing of these. Logos is building a L5 document sharing platform, but PBs are not yet under the shared documents. You may share the docx on the platform or with yout faithlife group (I think you found that already ;-)
Have joy in the Lord!

No. The only file that need to be trashed is the L4 application. When Logos used the version number in the directory path, they were stuck with it [8-|]. If there are any that could be deleted without harm, they are small and will not clutter your system.

I think I still have all my sermon files in one large docx file, so that should be perfect when I run it though.
Thanks for the info on sharing the sermons. What I'm hoping is to be able to get back to submitting sermon files to sermons.logos.com like we were able to do in L3. :-) (eventually when Logos adds more sharing capabilities to L5).

Sounds good. When I upgraded, it trashed L4 for me automatically, so I guess I'm all set. :-)
