Images in Bible Facts not Scrolling
Reporting an oddity: Cannot scroll the images laterally right or left along the bottom of the BF pane. There are definitely others to be seen, and the arrows are there, but they are unresponsive to clicking. Instead, I must grab the window frame and expand the window to see them. Running L5 on a 2012 MBP 13.

I am not having that problem. Have you tried to close and reopen Logos to see if the problem persists?

Thanks Mark. Rebooted and was allowed to scroll left or right only one picture, after which the arrows would not move the images further. Are you on Windows or Mac?

I seem to be having the same problem.
A bible facts search on Jesus gives about 15 people relationship diagrams, then about 15 images. I would expect considerably more with my library.
In the screen shot below, the rightmost image is truncated but the right button has ceased to function. It has been working up to this point (else I could not scroll beyond the relationship diagrams. The truncated icon, 'Jesus Healing a Leper' (The new manners and customs of the bible) is selectable and does display.
Going to full screen mode gives me more real estate:
I can hover the mouse between the triangle and the next resource pane and see the next image previewed ('The miraculous catch') but the arrow itself is not working.
Opening the panel as a floating window, and then sending that to full screen shows that there are five further images:
I can select these now in the normal way ... but I would expect there to be considerably more.
I can scroll the list of images back towards the diagrams, but the right arrow is still not functioning. Scrolling back to the first diagram at some point enables the left arrow again ... but it again stops working when 'Jesus Healing a Leper' is on the screen (truncated as in the first image above).
Is there an equivalent search that I can do in the library (e.g. Jesus type:image) that could find the images in a different way?

@Mark Smith: That is probably why you can't reproduce it. I'd be curious to hear from another Mac user if the same behavior is reproducible in BF.

I am on a Mac (ML 10.8.2) with L5 SR4.
Can I also take this opportunity to say that I could not highlight the Logos version in the about panel. This was a problem that was fixed in the early days of L4 ... and is now in L5.

Hi Martin, we posted at the same time but yours hit first. I was addressing Mark Smith about not reproducing the problem. Looks like we have a little bug that needs tweaking on the Mac side. Thanks for confirming with your feedback.

I have just tried to replicate this on my Beta machine, and cannot, in terms of the button not working, at least. I am still surprised at the lack of images though.
From an interface point of view ... it is a lot of clicking to do this ... there does not seem to be any mouse-controlled horizontal scrolling on the thumbnails, no scroll bar, and the buttons only move the icons across one at a time ... thus 20 plus clicks to slowly (very slowly) get to the end of the list.
Was it the same under L4 (and I never noticed)? Do windows users have a horizontal scroll bar? Is this operating as intended?

There may be a software bug here that I can't see on my Windows machine. But i can confirm that there are not an unlimited amount of image thumbnails, at least not for me. For Bible Facts on Jesus, I get
- 25 people diagrams
- 3 images from Faithlife Study Bible Infographics
- 17 other images from various other Bible dictionaries and sources
On the other hand, this query ("#image ANDEQUALS Jesus") returns 3,377 across 73 resources. So you should think of the Bible Facts image thumbnails as a more selective list.

That library search gave me about 3500 hits from 110 resources.
I did not know that we could embed searches like that ... it did not work directly from the link because it did not reset the existing settings in the search panel .... i.e. the 'All resources' ... but that was trivial
However I did see the #image tag in the new search help ... I simply must get used to looking first! [:$]

I checked the release notes for the 5.0a beta and it addresses a known issue like what you are experiencing. This was reported in an earlier thread: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/58091.aspx It will be fixed in 5.0a.
