iPad app won't launch

This is not the first time this has happened!

i tap the icon on my iPad, there is a brief blink of the screen and then the screen reverts to just steady state again.

(I have tried shutting down the iPad and then relaunching after a few minutes but to no avail; it still won't launch!! Super Angry

I delete the app. I close the iPad. I open and re-install from App Store. Then there is the long download process as the app downloads many (but not all) of my resources.

The app then works fine for a while before it refuses to launch.

What is happening? Is my iPad too long in the tooth? It's a model one running iOS 5 (because iOS 6 won't install on my iPad, because it isn't intend to.

This is only an issue with the Logos app; everything else works fine. FYI I have no notes, no highlights, no reading plans.

So, should I just give up on Logos for iPad and squint at my iPod Touch 4 which is running iOS 6 and on which the Logos app works fine, or invest more in my Laridian PocketBible which I have had since my Palm 5 days and which runs easily?

Suggestions/help please. Crying

Do I understand right: you don't have ANY notes/highlights/reading plans in L4/L5? Wow!

In you iOS settings, there should be a logos app icon towards the bottom left. Under those settings is "start at homepage". Does that get you up and running? What about the Vyrso and/or Faithlife apps. Are those crashing as well?

Have just checked this morning. Vyrso and Faithlife work normally. Logos still won't launch![*-)]

I checked and I do have Logos settings in iOS set for at "Start at Homepage".

Since I use Logos for reading on the iPad, perhaps I should just use Vyrso and delete the Logos app?
