is there a way for me to transfer all my notes from libronix to logos 4 without copy/pasting?
You bet. It's a two-step process and you need to have Libronix still on your computer with your note files.
To learn what to do see this wiki article: http://wiki.logos.com/Importing_Notes_from_LDLS3
I've Followed the instructions giving in that link that you've give me. it tells me to download a toolbar but when I click the link to download it, it takes me same ware else
Right click on the toolbar link and do a Save As.
thanks, I tried doing what you said also but is not working for me. I clicked Save link as since is to only thing that appears when I right click
Sorry, Chris that link does not work. Without that you can still run the import command in L4 but there will probably be problems with your note files. This script prepares your notes for import. I may have the script on another computer. If I can find it I'll try to upload it to the files section of the forum and let you know.

Chris, attached to this is the custom toolbar item you need to prepare your resources. Once you unzip the file, save it to C:\Users\{User Name}\Documents\Libronix DLS\CustomToolbars.
Then open L3 and look for the Update Notes Now button on your toolbar. If it is missing, right click on the toolbar and check Update Notes. Then run the operation by clicking the button.
When it is finished, return to L4 and type Import Notes in the Command Bar and hit Enter. This should convert your notes so they can be accessed through the L4 File menu.
thank you Sr. both yourself and the other brother have been a great help. thank you both very much. now I need to get use to using L4 and get it to stop chraching.
get it to stop chraching.
Christian, why not enable permanent diagnostic logging and the next time you have a crash, go to your Logos Log Files folder under My Documents, zip up the most recent files and attach them to a post asking for help. Attach them using the paper clip icon on the compose message form. Maybe we can help.
Diagnostic Logging Look for the section that talks about permanent diagnostic logging.
5287.awesomium.zip
here you go, thanks again
That log isn't helpful with crashes.
Enable permanent diagnostic logging and you will begin to have a Logos.log file, a LogosError.log file, a LogosIndexer.log file, and (if it crashes) a LogosCrash.txt file or a LogosIndexerCrash.txt file in that folder. Those are what we'd need after a crash.
7558.Logos4Error (2).zip
is it this one?
No that only shows error up through April. Nothing recent.
I don't understand what you mean by enabling
Follow the link I gave you to Diagnostic Logging (click on the words Diagnostic Logging) in my earlier post. Look for the place where it tells you what to do to enable permanent diagnostic logging and follow those instructions.
4505.Logos4.zip
That is a current log file but doesn't show a crash. So wait until you have a crash, then zip together all the current files (which should have a crash file) into one file and upload that. DON'T restart Logos after a crash until you have zipped the files up.
Its crached several times (goes not responding) for a couple a secounds
2860.Logos4.zip
The log file shows no crash. All of us to one extent or another experience the 'Not Responding' in Logos 4. That isn't a crash, as it clears up in time. That issue is hardware dependent. The faster your processor, the more video RAM you have and the more system RAM you have the less you see that. So crash means the program closes. You are not having crashes or you'd see a crash log generated and it would show up in your Logos.log file.
If you have not been using L4 much, you should know that many, many of us found our computers pretty severely taxed by Logos 4.
Can you share your system specs? Processor, RAM, Video card RAM?
I have a AMD E-350 Processor, Dual Core AMD radeon graphics, 3 GB of RAM, 197 out of 300 (285) GB of space
