Does anyone know how much the Min Crossgrade costs after installing Bronze?

Does anyone know? It will help me calculate the pennies! Thanks!

You should be able to find that on your upgrade page, but I believe it to be $40.68

Any chance it's even lower if I upgrade from L4 Original Languages Library and Catholic Foundations to L5 Bronze and Verbum Basic?

Thanks Jack - that's really very much appreciated!
I have L4 Leader's Package at the moment and naturally know what the Minimum Crossgrade will cost me from this starting point. ($159.95), but I don't know of anyway of finding out what that price will be once I've taken the plunge and upgraded to Bronze. I'm trying to work out how much I will need to pay for Bronze + Minimum upgrade. The only way I could think of was asking someone who might have done it previously. Any way, thanks again! .

For me, L4 Scholars to L5 Bronze was $220. Added Crossgrade for $18 and some change. Pleasantly surprised!

What a difference! It would be $330 for me. No base-packages are cheap for me.

I've been a Logos user since the 3.5 floppy days (1.6?) so I did have more resources than simply the base Scholars package. That probably accounts for the $100 difference between my upgrade and yours.

Gehl, what do You think of the:
- Counseling
- Devotionals and Spiritual Formation
- Small groups
... books in Bronze?

Believe you stated in another thread that you do not presently own any base package. Is my memory correct? In that case, you would probably have few resources that ate contained in those packages. This would naturally raise your upgrade cost to a base package. Examine the contents of the packages. If one looks like a good fit for you—at a price you can afford—go for it. If not the Minimal Upgrade would be your best upgrade option. Of course, you also have the option of remaining with L4.
Hope this information provides some assistance for you.

Jack, I seem to recall he owned OL - and thus perhaps one way for him would be calling Logos Academic Sales for the "New OL" package that is sold via this channel only.
Have joy in the Lord!

I have Original Languages and L4 Catholic Foundations. I'm probably upgrading the latter to Verbum Basic at the same time when I upgrade or crossgrade.

The pricing doesn't make much sense to me. I can get the minimal crossgrade for $159.95, or the Starter upgrdae for $69.71. Why would the minmal cross grade over twice the cost of the starter package? [:^)]

Minimal Crossgrade offers ALL the datasets plus resources necessary to make them work. Starter does not have all that functionality. They are targeted at 2 different audiences. MC is targeted at those who already have L4, Starter is targeted at new owners.
Making Disciples! Logos Ecosystem = LogosMax on Microsoft Surface Pro 7 (Win11), Android app on tablet, FSB on iPhone & iPad mini, Proclaim (Proclaim Remote on Fire Tablet).

I already have L4 and I understand what you are saying, but based upon the comparison chart, I would get more "new" resources with the Starter package than I would with the minimal crossgrade. The comparison between the two is very lopsided towards the starter. Is there something I'm missing with the "data sets"?

As David has already mentioned with the minimal crossgrade you get ALL the data sets, but only the necessary resources needed to make them work., With the Starter set you get more general books/resources but these are not necessarily tied to the data sets (they are just books). Although books are useful, it's the data sets which add greater functionality to the Logos software program, and therefore in some ways, the most use. These are expensive which is why they are graded throughout the base packages (getting more of them the more you pay) - which is why the minimal crossgrade for pre-existing customers (as opposed to new ones) is a good deal!

Packages include both resources and data sets. But the "lower" packages don't include all of the data sets. Crossgrade is aimed more toward adding ALL the new datasets with (very) minimal resources.
Browse the Logos 5 pages (and forums) to see what functionality the various data sets add.
If you want to add resources, definitely upgrade from L4 to a L5 package FIRST and then check to see the cost for the crossgrade. If you do it the other way around, you lose out on resource discounts when you try to buy a package because the upgrade calculator will already see you as a Logos 5 user (having purchased the crossgrade).

Scroll to the bottom of the upgrade page, and you will see all the data sets and the packages that contain them. Starter has few, if any, of these data sets.

Thank you everyone for the replies. They were helpful.
Jack, thanks for pointing out the data set comparison. I missed that (again).

Admittedly, it is not in the most visible place [:D]
