Logos crashes when working with Notes
The crash occurs when I attempt to delete a bullet point.
In general, most of the consistent 'issues' I have with Logos are related to my typing and formatting of the notes when using the outlining features.

this is driving me nuts. just started (or got worse) with last update.

when I try to delete formatted notes (bullets and indents) it crashes. also have noticed that when I try to change color of text in notes that it has begun to crash. it doesn't always happen but is very frequent. When I highlight note text and then hit the delete button, or just delete backwards one character at a time.1057.Logging.zip

Also, can someone tell me why Notes continues to change my default font? I have it set for Calibri but it will randomly change to Athelas Logos on me in the middle of a note.

Hi Sam,
The logs you posted were older ones so I don't think your attempts to log were successful. Can you follow the instructions here, and repeat the steps that cause the crash? http://www.logos.com/support/mac/L4/Logging

If using Logos 4.5c release, one suggestion is contacting Logos Technical Support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact
For note issue(s), capturing screen shot(s) then attaching to a forum reply helps Logos employees and adventurous users replicate issue(s).
Could enable diagnostic logging, restart Mac, launch Logos 4 Mac. If blue Logos icon appears in your menu bar, please wait for blue icon to disappear. If crash repeats, then compress log files and attach to a forum reply.Optional: download and use 5504.Logos4MacLogging.app.zip to display your logging setting, then change to enable logging.

Jeff - The techies will need your logos4.log. Instead, you have given an error log. Also, make sure you have logging enabled. If you don't know how to do this, see the link provided by Tommy above.

The Logos4Error.log file has an "Out of bounds" crash in a Rich Text Editor section of code in Logos 4.5c SR-3 running on OS X 10.7.4
Noticed an earlier error "index 4294967295 beyond bounds [ 0 .. 0]" so am wondering about the size of Note being edited ?
The index number implies a Note that is 4 GB in size. The maximum size for a 32 bit application is 4 GB. Logos 4 and Logos 5 are 32 bit applications.
Wonder about splitting Note(s) into smaller sizes and/or using Personal Books ?
From thread => Same old Mac Problems appears crash is also happening in Logos 5.

I'm sorry, but those logs were recorded in July. In the instructions for setting up logging you may want to copy and paste instead of typing in the bolded section:
defaults write com.logos.Logos_Bible_Software_4 LoggingEnabled -bool YES
Also, be sure to hit enter after you've pasted the text.
