Little green book icon

Question: In L4 windows the green icon would display my sermon/illustrations that I continue to load into L3.
When I moved to L5 on new windows 8 machine, I n longer see list of sermons.
This morning when I clicked on green icon on mac laptop, I get a screen that shows 'Biblia.com' ...
No resource or right to view it says (which I'm not interested in)
Any ideas what going on?
(I keep clicking green icon hoping we get list back.
thanks for listening.

Is this a PB that your're talking about? If so, you will need to recompile the PB on your new machine.

No
What I'm saying is...in L4 on my old windows machine when I clicked the little green icon at top it would show a drop down list of my sermons and illustrations.
Now of course these were complied in L3 (which I still use to store sermons/illust.)...but they show up on L4 and I can open them to view them.
Of course there was never a way in L4 to save sermon file as in L3.
Question Is: Why do they not show up in L5 (as in L4) when I click the little green book icon on bar?

Could you show us a screen shot of the old machine? It sounds like you have a shortcut on your bar.
If Libronix was installed on your old machine Logos would have imported the local book file so you could see it. On a new machine this file would not be vailable. If you open your old computer and open the book with your sermons/illustrations look at the info window to find the file name. If you copy that book file to a thumb drive and then use the scan command in Logos you should be able to get it on your new machine. If the flash drive is letter L, for example the command would be scan L:. The book file is probably in C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\<random>\ResourceManager\Resources.

It sounds like to me it was the "Sermons of" and "Illustrations of" Sermon File books he compiled on L3. You could only edit/compile those two books on L3, but the book files themselves could be opened/read in L4.
What I did was took my two books of those, exported them as docx documents, and now I just use the L4/L5 PBB tool to re-compile them under the new format (and I pulled the old book files). Allows them to stay way more current without having to result to L3.

That's it Nathan!
My question now is...would I need to export these files one at a time / compile as docx files, into PBB?
thanks

Now I understand. Unfortunately I never used the old sermon file add-in much. It sounds like Nathan may be able to get you going.
