Minimal Crossgrade Confusion & question . . .
Hello all,
I have a friend who owns the Logos 4 Scholars Library - not Scholars Silver, or Scholars Gold. It's just called the Logos 4 Scholars Library.
And she was wondering if she bought the Logos 5 Minimal Crossgrade would she actually get ALL of the new features?
Things like Timelines - Clause Search - Bible Facts - Sermon Starter Guide - Topics Guide - Enhanced Bible Word Study - Enhanced Passage Guide - Enhanced Exegetical Guide, and all the other enhanced features, etc.
Exactly what features would she get? And which ones would she NOT get?
Any help on this will be appreciated.

She will get all those features with the minimal crossgrade. Remember that if she is disappointed after purchasing it, she has 30 days to get a full refund.

Thanks for the link. But I've already been there. And even though it says ALL features - it's posts like this one from a Logos Employee that confuse the issue:

Notice the part in the middle where he seems to be saying that you may not get all of the features.

He is saying that certain tools that were in the L4 base packages are not in the L5 base packages, and they aren't in the minimal crossgrade. Therefore, if a person didn't doesn't have them from their L4 base package, then they won't get them with the crossgrade.
What this means is that the minimal crossgrade will give your friend everything she needs to utilize all the new features in L5. Some of the old features, if she doesn't already have them, she will not get with the crossgrade. Make sense?

In the simplest of terms:
She will get all the new things.
But she will not get the old things, if she didn't already have them.

Biblical People, Places and Things, Word Study were part of the L4 Scholar package.

Also notice the mention of Logos 4 base package. Internet archive of Logos 4 Comparison page => http://web.archive.org/web/20100417043100/http://www.logos.com/compare shows Logos 4 Scholar's Library included all Logos 4 features and databases so a Minimal Crossgrade to Logos 5 would include all.

I have uploaded what was in the L4 libraries when they released. Yes, the Scholars library had People, Place, Things, Pronunciation, etc.

Okay, Okay, Okay! I'm convinced!
Now I can tell her, definitively, that if she buys the Minimal Crossgrade she'll get all of the new Logos 5 features.
