What do you mean by "guide?"
In terms of an automatic tool to do lots of work for you, I don't think so, but if you mean a resource that describes different approaches to preaching I like Kenton Anderson's Choosing to Preach (I have it in paper, but it's a prepub http://www.logos.com/products/prepub/details/5431 ). In it he outlines 4 different styles of preaching and gives examples of these types. It's good fodder for choosing a preaching style/type.

There is an EXCELLENT post by Pastor Mark Barnes about how he uses Logos to construct his sermons....
This was done on V3 but you should be able to get some good ideas about how he goes about it....his process....
