Galaxy Note 2 Phablet: Is it possible to run the tablet version of logos instead of the phone versio

I just purchased the Galaxy Note 2 (Phablet) running Android (Jelly Bean).

I vastly prefer the tablet version of the Logos App and that is why I bought this phone. In fact, this phone has a higher resolution than my tablet (1280x720 vs 1024x600 resolution).

However, upon installing Logos on my new Phablet phone, I was shocked to see it runs the phone version.

Is it possible to run the tablet version of logos instead of the phone version?

I wasn't aware there was a difference in the Android mobile versions...although when the Note first came out, there were margin issues that several complained about, and I recall that Logos gave a user-selectable setting in the mobile app to change the type of screen size to suit taste (settings, margins).

I want to get a Note 2, but haven't yet...I use the Nexus 7 for Logos, along with an iPhone 4S. I really wish the mobile apps GUIs were more similar; it is confusing to move between them.

The version shown is based on the size of the screen that it's being displayed on. My Nexus 7 tablet (because of its screen size) shows the phone version of the UI, instead of the tablet version, which I'm guessing is for 10" tablets.

Yes, that's correct. I bought the Samsung Galaxy Note to read on as a mini-tablet. Logos addressed this margin issue many months ago. The device is a surperb to read on. I always have it with me, and regularly pull it out in situations where I would not have carried a tablet.

Have read quite a number of books through using the Vyrso app on the Note. (When I use the Bible app, I want it to go to my Bible.)

So, to the OP: if it fits your pocket and your budget, the Note works well as a mini-tablet.
(The fact that the Note II is currently the most powerful smartphone available might be a bonus.)

I too wish that the mobile versions were similar... I haven't played with the margins yet; I'll give that a try. Thanks!

Now that's interesting - my Nook (7" screen) shows the tablet version and it's great!
