Confirmed in Windows environment as well (although the text under the black bar is only about 1/2 covered, instead of about 7/8).
EDIT: This should be reported through the Typo feature. Have you done that yet?

I don't think this problem occurs if you have Columns set to "Auto" - but it does if you have Columns set to "None".
Do you see the same?
Not saying the problem doesn't need to be fixed but it might be a short-term workround.

I have been able to reproduce this issue. I will create a case to investigate.
As pointed out, the bug only occurs in scrolling view (i.e. Columns="None").
