Hi Harry
How do you move a personal book created on Logos for the desktop to a mobile device?
At the moment you can't do it.
It requires Logos to have a sync infrastructure for personal books and for them to store copies of all of them on their servers. This is not yet in place. Logos have said they will provide it but we don't have any timescales.

While the sync feature would be fanstastic, I would be happy is there was a place for Personal Books where the book file could be copied to the mobile device.

Sorry it is not possible. If it is not a large file, you may want to try a note file. Be aware, the note file was not designed to work this way. The original intention was to use it like you would a post it note in the margins of your Bible.
Mission: To serve God as He desires.

I would want to be able to search the personal book, so a note will not do. Also the formatting is a bit complex in the documents.
I will stick to using some of the documents PDF files on my mobile device in the meantime. I hope they eventually allow personal books to be shared between computers and mobile devices.

Any update on a timetable (if any) for being able to move personal books to mobile?

We don't have a timetable at this point for adding personal book support to mobile apps.

I bought logos 4 original languages last year in July, and I'm loving it and using it every day! I hope some time a timetable is added for personal book support.
If it was a financal issue, I would seriously consider upgrading to logos 5 (or 6 in the future) if it would let me use my personal books on my android mobile device.0 -

Are you aware you can get the Logos 5 engine-only upgrade for free?

Any news about synchronizing "personal books" with mobile device (Android)?

Any update on syncing personal books? I have an entire excellent commentary series (66 PDF's) I'm getting ready to add each one, add keywords and all that stuff but I primarily use Logos with my iPad. I don't think I'll go to all the work of adding those files if it'll be 5 years before I can use it on my iPad. If you think the feature will be active within the next year then I'll go ahead and go for it...just wondering if you can let us know if this is an active feature being added or just a "maybe one day" type thing...
Super appreciate what you guys do and the excellent platform you've built with Logos 5.

Hi Tim:
Are you aware of the wiki page listing .docx files that users have shared? You might find that your set has already been converted and tagged by someone.
Check it out at: http://wiki.logos.com/User_Contributed_Personal_Books
