Kindle Fire HD- Downloading Logos Books

Does anyone know how many GB of space would be used to download my logos library of about 3000 books to my Kindle Fire HD? I want to be able to read all my books while I am offline.   How much space does an average logos book use to donwload onto my kindle?  Is there anyway to find out?  I have a 16GB Kindle which I was told could hold over 8000 books if that is all I downloaded.  Is that correct?

    From the Main Screen on the Fire HD do a swipe down \ More \ Device \ Storage to see how much storage is available.  Then download 500 at one time and check storage space left.  After all 3,000 are downloaded do that again.

    You can probably get them all on the device without a problem.
