Speaker Labels and Power Lookup

The recent Speaker Label Challenge piqued my curiosity as to who all was included in the quote from Acts 21:14. Feeling too lazy to hover over all the megaphones, I opened Power Lookup, expecting to see them included in that tool. No such luck - looks like Power Lookup does not include data from speaker labels?

I can understand why they wouldn't be included (since unlike cross-references and such, speaker labels aren't actually part of the text), but it would be helpful if they could show up on Power Lookup.

By definition they couldn't be included in Power Lookup, because that looks up the current word in dictionaries. They could usefully be included in the Information Panel, however.

In fact, this sort of works already. If you display the information for the phrase "we ceased and said" that precedes those speaker labels, you'll get a list of all the people involved. You can also see them on the right-click menu.

Two different databases are being used for these things, so there may be discrepancies.

Have you forgotten that Power Lookup will display footnote data and verses from a resource when linked to that resource's window? It's possible that the speaker data could be included in that function, but it would be difficult to correlate any speaker data displayed in a different window because the speaker icons aren't labelled.

I had forgotten that (it's not a feature I ever use). But the point still stands, as the labels are not really part of the text (unlike the word used for definitions, or the verse, or the footnote that's shown in Power Lookup).
